Why Mallison Property Management

At Mallison Partners we pride ourselves on offering professional property management and high levels of service and accountability.

Property management has become a specialised field with vast legal implications. Employing the services of a professional property management team is now more important than ever.

The Residential Tenancies Act has complex rules and regulations relating to property management. The Act places immense responsibility on managers of rental properties to comply with these strict regulations. Property managers must possess a thorough working knowledge and understanding of the Act, as well as other Acts of Parliament. Our staff are always kept well informed and trained in all aspects of the relevant legislation to provide our clients with peace of mind. We always act in the best interests of our clients - legally, ethically and financially.

Selecting the correct tenant
We have earned a reputation for providing our clients with quality tenants to lease their properties. Our philosophy has always been to be particularly discerning when selecting tenants, so you have a worry free tenancy. Our detailed screening process aims to establish that tenants can meet the responsibilities of the tenancy agreement. Tenant selection is in accordance with laws covering discrimination, residential tenancies and privacy Acts. We keep you informed of applications, so you can take part in the selection and decision making process if required.

Quality management services
Prior to each tenant?s occupancy, a property condition report is prepared that details all aspects of your property, including an inventory if applicable. Routine inspections are made to ensure the property is well presented and maintained in the best possible manner. This protection mechanism aims to maximise occupancy, income and the increased value of your property.
Property managers ensure rental money is collected and forwarded to you promptly. Each month, we provide an itemised statement detailing income and payments made on your behalf, with copies of invoices attached. Council rates, body corporate levies and landlord protection insurance premiums are just some of the accounts that can be paid directly from rental income.

Investment and rental monitoring works for you
To gain full advantage of current rental market trends, our property managers monitor the rental pricing market and review each tenancy agreement prior to the expiration or renewal. If adjustments are warranted, we will contact you to present the options available and provide recommendations that are best for you and your property.
